Before, I was traveling to Cali. I asked my yogi-friends if they would like to recommend me some cool yoga places in Los Angles.
One of this studio was Power Yoga in Santa Monica. What a great choice to visit this place! I am so grateful and happy to have found this yoga studio on my vacation to California.
The studio is nice and clean. It’s located in great location in Santa Monica. Easily to find it!

How much is it?
It’s a donation-based studio, so you can pay, however much you want and you can rent a yoga mat for $2 which is nice.
1410 Second Street, Santa Monica, CA 90401
There’s free parking in the lot across the street for 90 minutes (though since the classes are all 90 minutes, you’ll wind up paying $1 for the parking)
I try Byron de Marse’s class. He has a really nice vibe and has a good sense of humor.
The class was challenging (I was sweating), but had excellent pacing and there were constant reminders to modify as needed and do what works for one’s own body. He comes up with a lot of great different flow segments that are intricate and unique. Byron embodied the essence of yoga with self love, self acceptance, and the breath techniques. This is what I really like, and in every yoga class we should focus on this point! What a bliss!
At the end of class, he also gives out short forehead/temple massages during Savasana. It was really nice!
Definitely, I would recommend him!
Byron, thank you so much for your yoga class. Great job! (I will be back on my next trip to LA.)
